Hey Guys! The last few weeks I have been working on a new photography project. I have always loved taking pictures and photography, but when it came to editing, I always chose apps that auto edit my pictures. But these past 2-3 weeks I have been working on some editing in photoshop. So, today I decided to share some of the pieces I made and my experiences. Let's get started! In the below sections, I have small videos that I learned from professional photographers to help me learn the tool. For more information on what you could use this for, or what I feel about it, read below the video. There is also the image that I edited below my reflection. Blurring Video from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdK_kwYBU5I Blurring in my opinion is a really good tool to help and focus on a specific object. For example, I used this tool to help blur an image to make as a background of an interview of a video project. I also used it on a picture of a baby looking out the window to help give him the main focus. Changing a backgroundVideo from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdK_kwYBU5I I have found that changing the background of an image can really help change the whole message, or story of your images. But, when trying this method I did run through a problem. I noticed that when I made a change in the background, the colors seemed to be different. For example in the image I used above, I had a picture of a person holding ice cream, and I placed it on a background of a beach. Something you can see with the image of the ice cream was that it was kind of dark compared to the background, and it made the edit look unrealistic. So, I changed the colors a little, as well as the brightness on that image to help. it blend in. Double ExposureI feel like double exposure is a really cool way to tell the story behind an image. In the image I edited below, I wanted my story to be a girl who is Indian on the outside, but I used double exposure to make her American on the inside. The message behind the image is don't judge a book by it's cover, and that people are not what you might expect them to be.Overall, I have really enjoyed photoshop and learning the next step to photography. I really recommend you guys to try the same even if it isn't with photoshop specifically, but any thing. With editing photos, you are able to sen your message through your art, and you can share yourself with the world around you. I hope you guys give it a try! Until next time,
- XOXO Sunny
